Lyon Presents at NINR 30th Anniversary Symposium

Executive Associate Dean and the Thomas M. and Irene B. Kirbo Endowed Chair Debra Lyon presented a scientific session at the National Institute of Nursing Research’s 30th Anniversary Scientific Symposium on October 13. The symposium, titled Advancing Science, Improving Lives, is a special event and marks the beginning of a year-long observation of the Institute’s first 30 years at the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

The symposium was held in the Natcher Conference Center on the NIH campus, in Bethesda, Maryland. The symposium highlighted many of the accomplishments of NINR and its scientists and showcased the positive impact that our science has had on the lives of millions of Americans.

Dr. Lyon presented a scientific session on Symptom Science and was one of four scientists invited to present such a session.
