February Community Health Discussion to Spotlight HPV; Will Feature Johnson-Mallard as Expert

HealthStreet—the community engagement program of the University of Florida College of Public Health and Health Professions—is hosting its 12th national Our Community, Our Health town hall event on February 21 from 6 to 7 p.m. to discuss how the human papillomavirus vaccine can prevent various types of cancer. Our Community, Our Health is a series of conversations between researchers and community members from across the country. Our own Dr. Versie Johnson‐Mallard will be a member of the panel. The interactive session “HPV Vaccine: Taking a Shot at Preventing Cancer” will take place at the Health Street Building, 2401 SW Archer Road, or can be viewed via livestream at:
