Professor Carlin teaches adult health courses to undergraduate students. She is also the Academic Faculty Coordinator for the Academic Partnership Units at UF Health.
Professor Carlin is interested in clincal research in the areas of patient satisfaction, nurses’ work environments and retention issues in nursing.
Professor Carlin holds membership in the Florida Nurses Association and Sigma Theta Tau International.

Clinical practice area of expertise
Professor Carlin has clinical expertise in cardiology, adult and elderly nursing, and nursing of adolescents.
Professor Carlin received her BS in Nursing and her MS in Adult Health Nursing from Indiana University.
