Dr. Hoffman is the Clinical Track Coordinator for the Neonatal Nurse Practitioner program. She is involved in clinical and didactic teaching in the Neonatal Nurse Practitioner program and in didactic teaching in the Doctor of Nurse Practice program. She participated in NONPF’s multi-organizational task force to validate new Neonatal Nurse Practitioner competencies in March. Instrumental in working towards getting the Neonatal Nurse Practitioner curriculum approved for offering as a Doctor of Nurse Practice program option.


Dr. Hoffman is an elected member-at-large for the Florida Association of Neonatal Nurse Practitioners. She is also co-chair of the Annual National FANNP symposium responsible for coordinating all of the speakers for the advanced track.

Area of expertise

Dr. Hoffman is a neonatal nurse practitioner and a neonatal nurse practitioner faculty member.


Dr. Hoffman received her Master of Science from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in Neonatal, Perinatal Health as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner and her Doctor of Nurse Practice from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
