Teaching:

Dr. Moosvi teaches psychiatric mental health nursing as well as leadership and role development courses in the BSN and DNP programs.

Research:

Her research is focused on health outcomes in the hospitalized mentally ill.

Service:

Dr. Moosvi is a member of the American Holistic Nurses Association and a peer reviewer for Journal of Holistic Health Nursing. She is also a member of Southern Nursing Research Society, American Psychiatric Nurses Association,Sigma Theta Tau International and the Rogerian Society. She is an LGBT ally and speaks in the community on the role of self-compassion in a healthy lifestyle.

Area of Expertise:

Dr. Moosvi is an Adult Mental Health Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Specialist with clinical expertise in the incorporation of select wellness practices in the alleviation of emotional suffering. She is interested in work that promotes health equity, wellness, and positive health outcomes for persons living with mental illness.
