Teaching
Professor Brimeyer teaches classes in obstetrics and women’s health to undergraduate and graduate students.
Research and Scholarly Activities
Past research has been done in the area of family dynamics, adolescent sexuality, breastfeeding, umbilical cord separation, discharge teaching, and clinical simulation.

Professor Brimeyer’s area of expertise is OB Nursing.
Service
Professor Brimeyer has served on numerous committees, subcommittees, and task forces in the College of Nursing Faculty Organization.
She holds membership in the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric, & Neonatal Nursing (AWHONN), National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health (NANPWH), Sigma Theta Tau International, and North Central Florida of Advanced Practice Nurses (NCFAPN). Professor Brimeyer also is a Certified Lactation Resource Nurse.
She is listed in several Who’s Who.
Clinical practice area/expertise
Professor Brimeyer is a Women’s Health Care Nurse Practitioner with national certification as a Women’s Health Care Nurse Practitioner through the National Certification Corporation (NCC).
Education
Professor Brimeyer received her BSN in Nursing at Marquette University. She received her MSN in Women and Infant Health Nursing from the University of Florida.
