Professor Mangueira teaches undergraduate courses in wellness promotion and illness prevention, professional nursing, and leadership. She also teaches undergraduate clinical community and public health nursing.
Professor Mangueira works with the community organizations in Alachua, High Springs, and Archer. She is extensively involved with the community and public health of Archer, working through the Archer Family Health Center to develop services to underserved populations. Professor Mangueira is a member of the American Nurses Association, Florida Nurses Association, American Public Health Association, and the Florida Association of Public Health Nurses

Professor Mangueira’s clinical expertise is in the area of public health, with a specific background in communicable/infectious diseases, emergency preparedness/response systems, and health care administration.
Professor Mangueira received her BSN in Nursing at the University of Phoenix. She received her MSN in Public Health Nursing at the University of Florida.
