The purpose of the Honors Program is to provide a unique and challenging experience for students who have exhibited exceptional academic ability and to develop student creativity and scientific inquiry.
Senior BSN students with a College of Nursing GPA of 3.7 may apply for the Honors Program. The Honors Program provides opportunity in research, service projects, and other creative endeavors in association with professionals in various fields of study. Seminar work with senior researchers in various nursing specialties is a part of this program. The presentation of an honors project and a final GPA commensurate with University guidelines are required for graduating with honors.
