DNP Student Receives National Scholarship

Jannae WhiteDoctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) student Jannae White was selected as the recipient of the Dr. Linda Burnes‐Bolton Scholarship from the National Black Nurses Association. The scholarship is based on scholastic achievement and leadership with a financial need for those pursuing a specific area of nursing practice. Jannae is a member of the Central Florida Black Nurses Association and received her bachelor’s degree from the College in 2014. The scholarship is named after Dr. Burnes-Bolton, the vice-chair of the IOM Committee on the Future of Nursing and vice president for nursing and chief nursing officer at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
