Associate Professor Robert Lucero and his team have been awarded a second year of funding from the UF Health Shands Board Quasi Endowment Fund to continue their work on falls prevention.
He has established a very productive interdisciplinary collaboration with the UF Health Shands Falls Prevention Task Force, Shands Nursing Administration, faculty from the College of Public Health and Health Professions, Sebastian Ferrero Office of Clinical Quality & Patient Safety, UF Health Operations, Planning, and Analysis Office, as well as CON faculty, Raga Bjarnadottir, Versie JohnsonâMallard, Jeannie Cimiotti, and PhD student Liz Fehlberg.
