Stacciarini Named Assistant Dean for Diversity, Inclusion and Global Affairs

stacciariniJeanne-Marie Stacciarini, PhD, RN, FAAN has been named the College of Nursing’s Assistant Dean for Diversity, Inclusion and Global Affairs. Stacciarini has served as the college’s Director of Diversity and Inclusion for three years and has led the EMBRACE program, which provides faculty mentorship and research opportunities for underrepresented BSN students, since its inception.

As the Assistant Dean for Diversity, Inclusion and Global Affairs, Stacciarini will play a lead role in carrying out the College of Nursing’s commitment to diversity, inclusion and global affairs for all members of the community including students, faculty and staff. Stacciarini will also represent the college both within the university setting and externally to increase visibility of College of Nursing programs and to ensure the promotion of diversity, inclusion and global initiatives. She will maintain her position leading the EMBRACE program and the co-chairing the International Nursing Student Interest Group, while also collaborating with the administrative team to ensure positive outcomes for  international and underrepresented students.
