CCNE Accreditation

The University of Florida seeks national reaccreditation of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) programs, as well as the College of Nursing’s post-master’s certificates, from the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). The CCNE will conduct a virtual accreditation review of the College of Nursing’s BSN, DNP and post-master’s certificate programs from Nov. 8 – 10.

Students, alumni, representatives from clinical agencies and the public are invited to submit third-party comments relating to the BSN, DNP and post-master’s certificate programs’ qualifications for accreditation status. At no time will comments be shared with the University of Florida, College of Nursing, Accreditation Review Committee or Board of Commissioners. The CCNE will share comments with the evaluation team before their review.

During its review of the programs, the evaluation team will consider third-party comments that relate to the accreditation standards. Written third-party comments will be accepted by the CCNE until no later than 21 days before the first day of the scheduled on-site evaluation.

All comments must be received by Oct. 18 and only signed comments are accepted by the CCNE.

If you would like to submit a third-party comment, please email the CCNE or mail to:
