UF Nursing Partners with VA to Offer Telehealth Educational Opportunity

Looking to dip your toes into the digital health field?

Students, faculty and staff in the College of Nursing now have access to a free, two-course Telepresenter Certificate Program that will help them expand their career opportunities in telehealth, thanks to a special partnership with the US Department of Veterans Affairs.

Tailor-made for health care professionals, as well as for those without any prior clinical experience, the virtual program provides a crash-course on digital health, telehealth and telepresenting.

The program’s modules will include lessons on telepresenter specialties, global digital health perspectives and telehealth regulations.

Registration is now open. Course materials will be available beginning on Aug. 30.
