The University of Florida College of Nursing is seeking experienced registered nurses to serve as adjunct clinical faculty and support prelicensure nursing students through the UFCON Reimagined clinical education model.
Adjunct faculty play a critical role in preparing future nurses by providing mentorship, clinical guidance and real-world learning experiences that help students build confidence and competence in practice.
Whether you are interested in working directly with students in clinical settings or facilitating learning through reflection and coaching, there are a variety of opportunities to get involved.

Clinical Education Roles
Rounders
- Supervise nursing students during clinical rotations
- Provide guidance and evaluate student performance
Debriefers
- Facilitate virtual post-clinical debriefing sessions
- Guide reflective discussions and track participation
Lab Instructors
- Facilitate simulation experiences and competency development
- Teach and evaluate nursing skills in the lab setting
