The University of Florida College of Nursing Alumni Weekend is an annual celebration that brings together alumni, faculty, students, donors and friends to reconnect, network and celebrate the Gator Nursing community. Events throughout the weekend include a reunion tailgate, a donor recognition ceremony, an alumni mentor meet-and-greet and opportunities to engage with current nursing students and faculty. The weekend highlights the college’s traditions, achievements and continued commitment to advancing nursing education and leadership while fostering pride and lifelong connections among generations of Gator Nurses.
Important Dates
- July 25 – Last day to reserve in Hotel Indigo Discount Block, unless they have already sold out
- August 25 – Last day to request a refund for Reunion Tailgate
- August 27 – Last day to reserve in Drury Inn & Suites Discount Block, unless they have already sold out
- September 4 – Last day to register for the Reunion Tailgate

Mentor Meet and Greet: Sep 25
The College of Nursing will host this annual event in the HPNP Building, to connect students and recent graduates with Gator Nurses representing various specialties and geographical locations.
Each year, more than 125 students have the opportunity to connect with alumni mentors through the meet-and-greet!

Reunion Pre-Game Tailgate: Sep 26
New location!
Get ready—we are beyond excited to announce that this year’s tailgate will take over the Reitz Union Game Room for the very first time. This is a historic moment: it marks our college’s debut in this iconic space and the first‑ever college‑hosted tailgate to be held there.
Celebrate in comfort at an indoor, air‑conditioned barbecue bash starting four hours before kickoff and running until one hour before the Florida Gators face off against the Ole Miss Rebels in The Swamp.
Enjoy bowling, foosball, pool tables, air hockey, retro video games, music, sports streaming on big screens, great food, and so much more—all in a high‑energy, family‑friendly atmosphere. Reconnect with classmates, turn up the Gator spirit, and kick off game day like never before.

Football Tickets: Florida Gators vs Ole Miss Rebels
Prepare to experience the excitement of game day in the Swamp! There is nothing like the energy of Gator Nation on a football Saturday—join fellow alumni and friends for a memorable day of camaraderie, tradition, and Florida pride. Do not miss your chance to be part of the action with the UF College of Nursing.
Tickets are not included with the tailgate; however, we have secured a block for our group that will be available for purchase by tailgate participants directly through the University Athletic Association (UAA) during a 30-day ordering window beginning in mid-June. Once available, a link to purchase football tickets will be included in the confirmation email sent to Reunion Tailgate registrants. It will also be shared in a follow-up message with those who registered for the Tailgate before the link became available.
