College of Nursing researcher receives NIH grant to study movement-evoked pain
We are proud to announce that the UF College of Nursing is the recipient of a $370,000 grant from the National Institutes of Health’s National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Disease. This project, led by Dr. Staja “Star” Booker, assistant professor, will focus on elucidating and understanding movement-evoked pain, or MEP, in older African Americans with knee osteoarthritis.
