Dean Anna McDaniel

Gator Nursing is much more than a name; it is an unshakable bond between a community and a commitment to Care, Lead and Inspire in everything that we do. For the past decade, Dean McDaniel has truly embodied what it means to be a Gator Nurse by serving the students, faculty, administration and the state of Florida.

In addition to her tenure as leader of the UF College of Nursing, Dean McDaniel has had an accomplished career advancing nursing science and educating new nursing professionals. Like founding Dean Dorothy Smith, she has acted as a true pioneer and visionary who will leave a distinguished legacy with her thoughtful approach to the health care needs of society.
