Enrollment for the Remote Patient Monitoring Certificate Program is open through Nov. 21.

Developed by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in an academic partnership with the University of Florida College of Nursing, the Remote Patient Monitoring Certificate Program aims to equip health care professionals across the industry with the essential information they need to navigate the dynamic landscape of remote patient monitoring. Donor Event Features Alex Carey

PhD student Alexandria Carey was a featured speaker at the college's Donor Recognition Event on Sept. 13 at the Cade Museum of Creativity and Innovation.  

The event honored donors whose contributions have helped advance students' careers through education scholarships and philanthropic support. 

Carey detailed her journey from being the first in her family to attend college to being a third-year PhD nursing student. She acknowledged all those who helped her along the way and supported her dream and thanked her scholarship benefactor, Dr. Gloria Pickar, who was in attendance. 

A Global Presence

Amanda Vickers, an August DNP graduate, and members of the UF Nursing faculty, attended this year's International Council of Nurses NP/APN Network Conference in Aberdeen, Scotland!

Vickers and nursing faculty member Mike Maymi presented the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board's "A Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Framework for Career Progression." Vickers is the PNCB board chair and Maymi is past board chair.
