About Sharon M Adams

Teaching

Dr. Adams teaches across the spectrum from undergraduates to graduates within the College of Nursing. Her areas of expertise are maternal fetal medicine and women’s health. She teaches obstetrics, women’s health, health assessment, pharmacology, primary care and community care to BSN, RN-BSN and FNP students with the CON.

Research/Scholarship

Her areas of interest are within women’s health and pregnancy complications. She has published in the Journal of Midwifery and Women’s Health articles pertaining to these issues.

Service

Dr. Adams will be working in late spring/summer within a local OB-GYN office providing prenatal care and women’s health to the Gainesville community. She also volunteers twice a month with a local group providing primary care to women in Alachua County.
