Dr. Kiruthika Balakrishnan, a dedicated and highly skilled Post-Doctoral Research Associate at the University of Florida College of Nursing. She is currently working on the PAILTO (Personalized Approach to Improve Liver Transplant Outcomes, PI: Pruinelli) study. Her expertise lies in conducting advanced research methodologies aimed at enhancing liver transplant outcomes. Dr. Balakrishnan is devoted researcher who specializes in detecting cardiac arrhythmia and other health conditions through analyzing Electrocardiogram (ECG) signals, using signal processing, a specific Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence methodology. She’s deeply passionate about improving healthcare outcomes and focuses her research on developing advanced algorithms and methodologies to accurately diagnose and detect cardiac arrhythmias. Her work contributes significantly to the early intervention and prevention of cardiovascular diseases. Throughout her research career, Dr. Balakrishnan has gained expertise in biomedical signal analysis, data science, optimization, and machine learning techniques. During her time as a Research Scholar at Anna University in Chennai, she conducted independent research on Biomedical Signals and collaborated with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement experiments.
