About Christina M Bricker, PhD, APRN, FNP-BC, FAHA

Dr. Bricker is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of clinical experience. She serves as the FNP Track Coordinator and Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Florida College of Nursing, where she leads curriculum and program development and mentors future nurse practitioners.

She maintains her clinical expertise through active practice at UF Health Archer Family Health Care, a nurse-led rural health clinic that delivers comprehensive primary care to underserved populations in North Central Florida. Her continued engagement in clinical practice ensures her teaching is informed by real-world experience and supports her commitment to advancing health equity.

Dr. Bricker’s professional background spans rural, urban, and free clinic settings, where she has led interprofessional teams, implemented quality improvement initiatives, and prioritized access to evidence-based care. Dr. Bricker is also a health researcher with a focus on cardiovascular health and has received NIH funding (NRSA 1-F31-NR012347). She has completed national research and leadership training through the NIH Summer Genetics Institute and the American Heart Association’s 10-Day Seminar on Cardiovascular Disease Epidemiology.

She is a Fellow of the American Heart Association and is dedicated to advancing nursing leadership, innovation, and the integration of research, education, and practice.
