Teaching
As a Certified Nursing Educator, Dr. Nestor teaches health assessment, medical-surgical nursing, and legal ethical courses in the undergraduate nursing program.
Research
Dr. Nestor’s research interests focus on adult learners and learning strategies that maximize learning potentials to support student success. Additional research interests include academic nurse educator mentorship practices.
Service
Dr. Nestor is an active member of Sigma Theta Tau International, the Florida Nurses Association, American Nurses Association, and the National League for Nursing.
