Teaching Philosophy
My teaching philosophy centers on empowering students to achieve academic and professional success through a student-centered, supportive approach that integrates content mastery with essential learning skills. As a Clinical Assistant Professor and Director of Academic Support, I emphasize the deliberate teaching of critical thinking, metacognition, and effective study strategies alongside course material, helping students understand how they learn and build independence. Through mentorship, collaboration, and data-informed support, I aim to create a holistic learning experience that builds confidence, resilience, and lifelong learning.
