Shannon G Perry,

Shannon serves as the clinical research coordinator for Dr. Leslie Parker. Their studies focus on the antepartum/postpartum moms and their infants admitted to the NICU. In her role, Shannon helps in the start-up of a study, monitors current active research and closes studies. She is responsible for obtaining consents, collecting data/samples and follow-up of data entry into REDCap. Education and communication with the nursing/medical team is also a component of her job to make sure everyone is doing their part to make a study more valid and avoid any deviations. She also helps mentor student research assistants in learning about how to conduct a study.
