Kelly A Reid,

Kelly supports both the Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) program and the Doctor of Nursing (DNP) program under the Associate Deans for Academic Affairs, Undergraduate and Graduate; as well as acting as the College Grade Coordinator and Coordinator of the college faculty teaching evaluations.

BACKGROUND

Kelly proposed, convened a task force and implemented the first College of Nursing Staff Council in February 2014 which at the time was 1 of only 3 Staff Councils at the University of Florida. She has served as the President of the Executive Board of the first Staff Council. She has also served as Secretary, Member, Member-at-large and most recently, as Vice-President .  She has served as a consultant to other Health Science Center colleges for proposing and implementing a Staff Council in their specific colleges.

Kelly acts as the Co-Chair on the Division 5 Superior Accomplishment Awards Committee. She is also a three time recipient of the Superior Accomplishment Division 5 Award winner 2004, 20014 and 2018.

Kelly also sits as the representative for the college on the UF Campaign for Communities steering committee and has done so for the last 20 years.

Kelly has been working at the College of Nursing since 1997.
