About Nancy G Young
Professor Young teaches in all undergraduate nursing programs. Her current primary area of teaching is in the area of child health clinical and simulation.
Professor Young’s area of research and scholarship is in pediatric health care, nursing education, and the use of simulation in education.
Professor Young is a member and current secretary of the Alpha Theta chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International. She presently serves on several College of Nursing committees, including the Academic Affairs Committee. Professor Young is a member of the Pediatric Quality and Safety Committee at UF Health Shands.
Honors & Awards
Professor Young is a nationally certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in the area of primary care. She is a nationally certified nurse educator with the National League for Nursing.
