The College of Nursing, UF Health, and the North Florida/South Georgia Veterans Health System are partnering to present the 2022 Nursing Research Summit and Malasanos Lectureship. The Nursing Research Summit will showcase innovative research that can be used to solve complex health problems.

Parking Information:
UF Health West and East Visitor Parking Garages are available by turning left onto Center Drive or Newell Drive. Parking for all those who are not patients or visitors of patients is $10.

The Malasanos Distinguished Lectureship brings distinguished speakers to the university every year to discuss a wide variety of health topics of interest to clinicians, patients, and the public.

The Malasanos Distinguished Lectureship was endowed in 1992 in honor of John Malasanos, husband of former College of Nursing Dean Lois Malasanos.
Conference Purpose:
The purpose of this conference is to disseminate research findings and stimulate discussion, foster a culture of inquiry, and enhance attendee’s knowledge of strategies to enhance wellness and address moral distress at individual and organizational levels.
Conference Outcomes:
- Define the issue of moral distress in nursing
- Recognize nursing strategies to enhance wellness and cultivate resilience
- Describe gaps in research and scholarship related to nurse wellness and moral distress
