UF nurse researchers, supported by grants from federal and private foundations, are addressing the most pressing challenges facing today’s healthcare environment. The Office for Research and Scholarship (ORS) exists to facilitate innovative research and scholarship conducted by faculty, students, and staff through the provision of support services. These services include literature searches, assistance with grant applications, access to laboratory space and equipment, manuscript review and editing and statistical consultation. The Office is also a repository for information on internal and external funding sources/resources, including funding opportunity announcements, guidelines and forms, and works closely with the UF Division of Sponsored Programs to prepare grant application submissions (pre-award) and administer grants post-award.
