Spring 2026 Pinning Ceremony
Friday, May 1, 2026, at the Curtis M. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts at 10:00 am. This traditional ceremony recognizes new nurses to the nursing profession and is only for nursing undergraduates, where students are individually recognized.
Note: This is NOT the same as the Commencement (graduation) Ceremony, which is managed by UF’s Director of Commencements.

Doctoral Commencement Ceremony
Thursday, April 30, 2026 from 9-11 a.m.
Bachelor’s Commencement Ceremony
(aka – Graduation Ceremony)
Friday, May 1 from 7-9 p.m.; no tickets required for this ceremony; regalia is required for this ceremony.
This is the GRADUATION ceremony where undergraduate degrees are conferred upon the graduates. The spring ceremony includes conferring of degrees and individual recognition. This is NOT the same as the Pinning Ceremony, which is a ceremony for the nursing profession and not a graduation. Nursing undergraduates are encouraged to attend both the Commencement Ceremony and Pinning Ceremony.
