Nursing Pinning Contact: Yancy Lawrence
Friday, May 5, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. in the Curtis M. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. Traditional professional ceremony only for Nursing undergraduates and specific to Nursing, where students are individually recognized with their names called as they cross the stage to be pinned by a member of the Alumni Council, who sponsor the event. This is NOT the same as the Commencement (graduation) Ceremony. We encourage Nursing undergraduates to attend both the Pinning & Recognition Ceremony and the Commencement Ceremony.
Doors open at 9:00 a.m.; graduates report to Fackler Foyer West by 9:30 a.m.; all others seated by 9:45 a.m.; processional at 10:00 a.m.
This ceremony is for BSN spring graduates (TBSN & RN to BSN), and is the “college recognition ceremony” for Nursing, as referenced on the Spring 2023 Commencement website. Follow link below for complete details and information on how to order your pin and RSVP for the ceremony.
