Nurses Leading Change, NLC, is a student organization missioned at creating a safe space that empowers individuals of underserved communities. The organization advocates for cultural issues related to various identities. It facilitates discussions about drivers of health in underserved populations and the nurse’s role in addressing those drivers. NLC also shares educational resources, such as upcoming webinars and relevant publications to encourage personal and professional development of members. The goal of NLC is to help decrease health disparities through improved nursing practice in the College of Nursing.
