A celebration of being a Gator Nurse alumnus. Every fall, Gator Nurses of all ages flock to Gainesville to reminisce with old and new friends about their time at the College of Nursing. The pre-game tailgate takes place at the HPNP complex before the Gator’s big game. It includes delicious BBQ, games, activities and the chance to bid on premier silent auction items.

Supports nursing students with the nearly $1,300 cost of first-year textbooks through Alumni Board–awarded scholarships. Board members review applications, vote on recipients, and personally connect with selected students through congratulatory phone calls. Each year, multiple students receive book awards and are recognized during alumni fall reunion festivities, helping ease financial strain and support their success at UF.

This program connects CON alumni with students through an engaging mentorship experience. Alumni mentors help students explore career options, share networking opportunities and offer personalized advice. Alumni Council members serve as a first point of connection between students and their future as Gator Nurse alumni, helping inspire confidence, professional growth and lifelong engagement.
