Gator Nurse Gatherings
The College of Nursing is excited to host Meet the Dean at our Gator Nator Nurse Gathering events! This is a great opportunity for you to meet Dr. Shakira Henderson, the sixth dean of the UF College of Nursing, as well as interact with fellow Gator Nurses, network, and find out what’s happening at the College. Our popular Gator Nurse Gatherings have been held all over the state of Florida (Orlando, Tampa, Gainesville, Jacksonville, Tallahassee and South Florida) as well as other regional areas such as San Francisco, Atlanta, and New York City! And now we will be touring with our new dean!
In 2024-2026, we hosted Meet the Dean events in DC, Gainesville, Jacksonville, Miami, Atlanta, Orlando and Tampa. Gator nurses visited with each other, Dean Shakira Henderson, many faculty members, and Professors Emeriti Dr. Jo Snider & Jodi Irving.
